Among the 60 participating companies, Hermesmeyer & Greweling set up a booth on the 13th Versmolder Berufsparcours to give the interested students an insight into the profession of cutting machine operator.

The tasks of metalworking were explained to the 450 young people from the surrounding elementary, secondary and secondary schools and the secondary school by the two apprentices Mustafa Soylu and Samuel Dück on the basis of the eccentric device assembly. The students were assigned the task of sorting the individual parts of the assembly and then assembling them. In this way, they were able to demonstrate their technical understanding and craftsmanship while at the same time establishing contact for an internship or an apprenticeship.
