We are constantly striving to improve the quality of our services and to further reduce lead times. Our purchase of a scanner system from FARO has allowed us to achieve these objectives.

It is a regular occurrence that data records do not match the unfinished casting, which cases problems during milling.

By recording the actual contour of the cast material using the scanner, we are able to avoid such errors.

Excessive material allowances and/or missing material is detected immediately when the data is superimposed. If necessary, it is then possible to coordinate with the customer in the programming phase, and not only during machining.

This allows for programming and collision checking to be automated, making the whole process more reliable.
