Hermesmeyer & Greweling set up its booth again this year at the 7th Harsewinkel job fair to give interested students a glimpse of a cutting machine operator's work. Both of the apprentices, Arne Markmeier and Christoph Krüger, explained the eccentric mechanism module using a drawing. The students were tasked with sorting the individual parts of an eccentric mechanism and then assembling them.

This enables them to test their technical skill and their manual dexterity. Besides the three secondary schools in Harsewinkel, the high school in Herzebrock-Clarholz also participated this year, so there were 650 young visitors; more than every before. Overall, 52 companies were represented, which presented 118 different apprenticeships.
