On 07.03.2012 the 4th vocational course exhibit took place in Harsewinkel. Location for the event was the multipurpose hall. Six hundred and seventy 8th and 9th graders from Harsewinkel schools had the opportunity to gain first hand knowledge about 70 different vocations through practical experience. In addition to skilled trades and commercial occupations were also presented.

The Hermesmeyer & Greweling Company introduced the apprenticeship of cutting machine operator specializing in milling. The students were given the chance to carry out installation work on different components with the help of drawings. A large number of students took advantage of this opportunity to learn more about vocational training. We believe that this event is an excellent way for young people to explore a profession and are therefore looking forward to attending the vocational course exhibit in Harsewinkel again next year.
