After a ten-month renovation phase, another machine was put back into operation as part of our modernization measures. The scope of all conversion work on our Vertamill 235 line was considerable and affected the entire drive, guidance and control technology. Since this is a 5-axis processing machine, a Heidenhein control TNC640 was converted for this.

The possibilities of this control are very extensive and in order to be able to use them, all guides have been renewed, all drives have been converted to digital control and all ball screws have been replaced. In order to be able to mill in one "language" in the future, we have decided to successively convert our machines to Heidenhein controls.
